We sincerely reject mainstream modesty and believe that the Muslimah, the female Muslim, is a woman of distinction. She is tranquil, honorable, and chaste. A woman who is set apart from the rest by her dress, her character, and her high moral standards. Her distinguishing mark is covering and chastity.
How We Started
It began with a heartfelt desire to spread dawah and make a difference.
Allah (الله) guided me to two life-changing books: A Treatise on Hijab by Shaikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaimeen, and The Dress Code of the Muslim Woman by Imam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen Al-Albaani. These books brought such clarity and enlightenment to my heart. Each page deepened my understanding of what it truly means to dress modestly and fulfill this beautiful act of worship.
As I read, I felt an undeniable pull to share what I had learned with others. It all began with dua, countless conversations with my family, and a determination to bring this vision to life. Maÿaz Collection was born as a way to provide meaningful resources like these books, and garments that support women in covering correctly.
Our very first product was the jilbab garment, a simple one-piece design that flows from the head to the feet, because I had come to understand its importance and obligation (wajib).

We are here to support and encourage you, offering pieces that align with Islamic values while celebrating your individuality. This is my way of spreading dawah, إن شاء الله, and helping my sisters feel their absolute best, inside and out.

This is the story of how a simple conviction became a small, considered collection — one seam, one silhouette, one woman at a time.
I started sewing modest pieces for myself long before Maÿaz had a name, because what I wanted to wear did not exist on any rack I could find.
Every abaya either surrendered its shape for the sake of coverage, or surrendered its coverage for the sake of shape. I wanted both, and I believed other women did too.
What began as a personal solution became something closer to an invitation. I do not separate my faith from my work; the same care I put into every seam is the care I try to bring to how I live. If a woman puts on a Maÿaz piece and feels both fully covered and fully herself, that is the whole of what I hoped to offer.
The goal was never simply to sell clothing. It was to build a small, honest alternative: pieces made with intention, for women who wanted to be chaste without being invisible.

Every Maÿaz piece starts with the fabric: weights that drape rather than cling, weaves that hold their shape through a full day, finishes soft enough to wear from morning into night. Each garment is fitted for real movement, not just a photograph, and finished by hand at every seam.
